Easy ticket purchase, nice museum

I bought a Museum Admission Ticket for a specific date through their website. The process was straightforward and quick, no issues there. I received the e-ticket instantly. The museum itself was well-curated, and I spent a good few hours looking at the different exhibitions. It wasn't overly crowded on the weekday I went, which was a plus. Staff at the entrance were helpful with directions. The cafe looked nice but I didn't try it this time. I appreciated the clear directions on their site about getting there too. A solid experience overall.

Interesting exhibit, slow delivery

I ordered an Exhibition Poster online. The poster itself was high quality, really liked the image. Shipping took almost two weeks to reach me in Texas, which felt a bit long. The packaging was good though, no damage. Overall a good experience once it arrived, but delivery could be faster.

Good value for a membership

I bought an Annual Membership after seeing the Black Friday deal. It made sense since I plan to visit a few times this year, plus the shop discounts are a nice bonus. It felt worth the purchase compared to buying individual tickets.

Does Fotografiska Berlin accept the Museum Pass Berlin? Trying to plan out which museums to hit up while I'm there.

R Richard Flores 1 week ago
Nah, I don't think so. I looked into that last time and it wasn't listed as one of the participating places. Better double check their site though.

Pretty sure it's not included. It's more of a private museum vibe, so those passes usually don't cover it. You'd have to buy a regular ticket.

Is Fotografiska worth it compared to C/O Berlin or the Helmut Newton Foundation? Can't decide which one to prioritize for photography.

J Julia G. 6 days ago
Totally different vibe. Fotografiska is way more contemporary and often has a more 'immersive' feel. C/O is great too, more classic photography usually. If you like modern stuff and want to hang out in a cool space, Fotografiska wins.

It really depends on what you're into. Fotografiska often has really thought-provoking, current exhibitions. Helmut Newton is very specific to his work, obviously. I'd say Fotografiska if you want something broader and more 'experiential'.

Headed to Berlin for Christmas. Does Fotografiska do anything special for the holidays or any deals around that time?

B Brittany Torres 1 week ago
I went around Christmas last year and it was definitely busy! They sometimes have special event tickets or late openings. Not sure about specific discounts, but it's a good time to go because the area is festive.

They probably don't do specific 'Christmas discounts' but it's a peak time for them. Might be worth checking their site closer to the date for any special holiday exhibitions or events.

Hey, thinking of getting tickets for Fotografiska. Do they have a student discount? I can never find that info easily on museum sites.

B Brian Phillips 1 month ago
Yeah they do! Just select the student ticket type when you're buying online. I used my student ID there last month, no issues.

Yep, it's usually a pretty good chunk off too, like 20-30% I think. Just make sure you have your student ID with you when you go in.

Can you just buy tickets at the door for Fotografiska? Or should I book online ahead of time?

B Barbara Lopez 4 weeks ago
You can buy them at the door, for sure. But if it's a popular exhibition or a weekend, you might have to wait in line. I always buy online to skip the queue.

Yeah, they have a box office. But honestly, if you know when you're going, just book online. It's usually smoother and you can just walk right in.
